Q Kirstie Malcolm wants to know: “Who are the two players from Falkirk's 1997 Challenge Cup winners who are still with the club today?”

A Not so much STILL there as BACK there. Both Scott McKenzie and Kevin James played in the team that won the Challenge Cup in 1997-98 and then joined other clubs.

McKenzie left for St Mirren in 2000 and rejoined Falkirk in 2002 while James left for Hearts in 1999 and had spells with Morton and Airdrie before also returning to Falkirk in 2002.

Q From Josephine McEwan: “What was the Italian club that Andy Walker had a spell at and did he actually play for them?”

A I'm sorry but I can't find any trace of Andy Walker being with an Italian club. The only time in his playing career it may have been likely is in late 1997 where there is a three-month gap between his last appearance for Sheffield United and going on loan to Hibs. However, there is no record of a temporary or loan transfer to any club in Italy.

As far as I am aware his senior clubs were Motherwell, Celtic, Newcastle, Bolton, Celtic again, Sheffield United, Hibernian, Raith Rovers, Ayr United, Carlisle United, Partick Thistle and Alloa. Of these there were loan spells at Newcastle, Bolton, Hibs and Raith.

I've consulted my colleague Forrest Robertson who, in turn, asked his 'European expert' who says he “has no record of Walker playing in Italy but it might have been a minor league side for a single game. He`s going to check again.”

And if that doesn't throw anything up, then it looks like the nearest Walker got to Italy may have been a visit to Tog's in Troon during his time at Ayr.
