A freelance writer and journalist, David has written for newspapers
and magazines for many years. He has been writing online since 1997 and was responsible for establishing a creative digital technology network for freelancers and small businesses in Cornwall. He was also a local Councillor in Middlesbrough in North-East England for over a decade and is a former parliamentary
candidate for the Labour Party.
Born in Dundonald, Ayrshire in Scotland, educated
at Marr College in Troon, Kilmarnock Academy and the University of Teesside, he has been a Kilmarnock supporter
all his life. Having lived in Scotland, Teesside, London and Cornwall at various times, David now lives in County Durham with his wife, journalist & psychologist Josephine Gardiner.
