And being mentioned for EEP. He has a good record everywhere he's been. I wouldn't mind seeing him in tandem with Leish

According to William Hill Burley was 20-1 to be first SPL boss to be sacked. They took just one bet and that was a fiver.

If Provan's worried so much about Old Firm fans having to spend too much cash here's an idea for him. In his next column he could tell them to save thousands of pounds on travel by watching their local side rather than gte on buses from all over the country and heading for Glasgow. It would help the...

Just had a look. Brilliant. Only happened once when Jock Stein was manager of Celtic (Peru '72) but happened 13 times (from Norway '78 to France '84) when Stein was Scotland boss.

Couldn't accuse the big man of bias.

Good to see a bit of a rumble  I'll buy your book and make my own mind up about it but to be honest mate you should have thought twice before writing this I am also a Shire fan for life now There aren't many "fans f...

You are at it Davie boy. You admit yourself you never get your Pars predictions right so why bother? No way are we going down. We'll finish above Falkirk and Livingston at least and possibly Inverness and Kilmarnock as well.

How would you work promotion/relegation into that? Four down from sixteen and regional winners promoted? Or fewer relegated and play-offs? Also, what size would the feeder divisions be? Even if all the regional winners were promoted that's still only one going up per division so you wouldn't want to...

April 27th 1968 at Hampden Park. The day the Pars won the Scottish Cup for the second time. I can remember this one but not the 1961 win. And the next season was tremendous too when we reached the semi-finals of the Cup Winners Cup. There's a lot of detail in the Pars Database website Worst? There w...

After my last post a forum member asked "Could you tell me something about the only all Fife Final between East Fife and Dunfermline Athletic. Who were the scorers, and the scoring sequence, who were the managers in charge in both sides, the team line-ups, who was the referee, and which team was see...

Some great names on there. Tend to agree with the site admin about who's worth adding to it. I wonder how many of the current Scotland squad could end up on that list?

Maybe Fletcher and at a push Ferguson. And that's it.
