Re: Topscorers in Division Two

John Litster's disc has some info on Div 2 scorers but is very, VERY incomplete. I understand that an update is planned for publication in about two years time, but my guess is to research this list in the meantime if you need the info pronto.

Re: SEMI FINMALS

Hearts HAVE previously played 4 games at Murrayfield, so this DOES give them a massive advantage over Celtic.

Who writes Brendan's scripts???

Re: A.McGill - Albion Rovers

According to Litster his first name was Allan and was an outside or inside left.

He signed from Blantyre Hibernian on 19 Jan 1903 and his last entry is for 1907-08. From 1905-06 til then he was on the League's OTT list.

Re: Old League Cup criteria

From memory Tom Cockburn wrote this as well as the Scottish Cup Variations articles. He also did excellent pieces on the 'Alphabet' divisions and Reserve league football. I was just thinking about the SFH the other day and it's incredible that it has been going since 1982. I got my first copy of it ...

Re: Reserve League Cup results

I was trying to find the results of the Reserve League Cup from 22nd of August 1959. The Scottish Football Historical archives used to have the results but somehow I cant find them anymore. Can anyone out there point me in the right direction? Unfortunately I've been up to my neck in family affairs...

Re: Twechar Rangers / United

Twechar United were formed around 1928 as Juveniles. They went briefly defunct in July 1931 but managed to reformed for the new season. They were defunct again for 1932-33 season but again reformed, this time as Juniors in June 1933. They appear to disband about 1940-41. Twechar Rangers were around ...

Re: Scottish FA Cup website

Delighted to see a site devoted to the old blue ribbon event. Regarding the pre 1890 seasons, 1880-81 is coming up as a Page Not Found. Also the following postings from this site may prove useful... http://www.scottishleague.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5225 http://www.scottishleague.net/forum/...

Re: NEW BOOK - FORGOTTEN GLORIES

Thanks Andy. I've sent you an email with the file attached.

I'm in the process of revamping the site but this will take some time. Some files are missing from the site due to the switchover, so if there are any pages missing that you want to see, drop me a line and I'll get it online ASAP.

Re: Scottish Football Historical Archive

Thanks, Robert and to all who got in touch. I'm fine now but a scare just before Christmas had put me off kilter for a month or so. Anyway, on a cheerier subject I'm delighted to say that the site is now up again at a slightly different address http://scottish-football-historical-archive.co.nf Some ...
