The original Cup is still presented - you just don't get to keep it. Same scenario with the Wimbledon tennis trophies, and the Indy 500's Borg Warner Trophy. The current Scottish FA Cup was minted in 1885 although the competition began some years prior to that date. Is the original version still presented to the champs? Wow. Thanks for the input, guys. Another factor is the arrival of new countries: Czechoslovakia now is now Czech Rep and Slovakia, and Yugoslavia split into several new states. Still a lot of teams, though, and rather dilutes the quality in my humble opinion.

Can someone check my maths? I can't believe it's not butter, and I also can't believe that 194 - or 196 teams if the holder doesn't participate - take part in the UEFA Europa league each year. Is this correct?
