Airdrieonians won 2-0 at Old Trafford on 5th May, 1923, Gallacher & Russell the scorers. The match was played for the Lord Mayor's Million Shillings Hospital Fund. I don't have the Celtic book but interesting he is listed as one of their players.

I assume the 'loan' was official to have been included?

Are there any Cowdenbeath historians who may shed light on his Central League appearances?
