We've also had someone suggest that this could be Jimmy McPhie (Falkirk 1930s-1950s) who apparently played for Scotland Schoolboys v Wales Schoolboys at Wrexham in 1935. Difficult to tell though.

J P Millar was a Falkirk based photographer which kind of makes you think the player may be local to that...
