Re: Junior International records
Could the Blairhall Colliery player be Pat Wilson? He signed for Dunfermline in August 1962 as a sixteen year old and later played for Aberdeen, Raith & Cowdenbeath. I didn't know he'd played for Scotland Juniors.

Re: Junior International records
I think the Rosslyn Juniors player in 1931 may have been Peter Ronan, not Rowan. He signed for Cardiff City at the end of the season.

Re: Junior International records
Brown was the Dunfermline Juniors goalkeeper in the 1897 Scottish Junior Cup Final. I think his initial was J. but his first name eludes me at present.

George Izatt was captain of the Athletic Juniors when he was capped. He later became Provost of Dunfermline. Jimmy Ford and Jimmy Moultrie played for Dunfermline Juniors. Both later joined the Athletic. Tom Doig played for the Athletic Juniors. David Taylor played for Dunfermline Juniors. Both he an...

Re: 72/73 - Second Division fixture anomaly
Dunfermline weren't originally scheduled to be playing Alloa on 23 December - they were supposed to be at Clydebank but that was postponed. I can only assume that Alloa didn't have a game on the 23rd and agreed to bring forward their fixture from 21 April. It must have been clear fairly early that t...

Re: Alexander("Sandy") Hall - last game for Dunfermline Athl
His last league appearance for Dunfermline was on 6 March 1915, a 2-0 defeat at East Stirlingshire. He didn't play in the final league match of the season three weeks later.

Re: Stewart Kennedy Dunfermline Athletic
Stewart Kennedy didn't play in any Fife Cup matches as the club didn't take part in the competition in the three seasons between 1966 & 1969. As far as I'm aware he didn't play in any friendlies either. His only first-team appearance, the League Cup tie at Clyde, was actually on his 19th birthday. H...

Re: Clyde squad numbers 1966/67
Following the match at East End Park on 5 November, the Dunfermline Press reported that "Clyde had a strangely numbered line-up, only McCulloch and Mulheron being correctly designated, and their attack contained the numbers 12,13 and 14". Their team was McCulloch, Glasgow, Mulheron, McHugh, Fraser, ...

League Cup Semi-Final 1979/80
Does anyone have a report of the match between Dundee United and Hamilton Accies which was played at East End Park on 24 November 1979?
There's nothing in the Dunfermline Press and there are no online editions of the Herald available for that month.
Many thanks.
