Young Boys Berne for obvious reasons (born here and still live here). However, on my numerous trips to Scotland, I have always enjoyed the surroundings of smaller grounds like Firs Park, Recreation Park, Victoria Park, Gayfield etc. I also had the privilege to be at the Rangers v Dynamo Kiev Europea...

Again, many thanks. I also noticed that Falkirk's crowd vs Ross County "increased" in the Sky/Rothmans Yearbook. The revised parts would therefore look as follows: Arbroath – 4,165 / 4,153 v Rangers (Scottish Cup), 25 Jan 2003 Clyde – 8,006 / 7,382 v Celtic (League Cup), 14 Aug 1996 Falkirk – 6,123 ...

Thanks. Yes, I have seen that one as well. Moreover, Arbroath's crowd v Aberdeen is given as something like 3,996 (I do not have the Rothmans in front of me right now, but if I am not mistaken, this is the number given there). Finally, Inverness CT recorded their highest crowd last weekend v Rangers...

Thanks a lot for the comments which I will use to revise the list; I will again consult the Rothman's Yearbooks as well as the Scottish League Reviews. The trouble really is that many other sources are not too reliable. Thus I will have to base my compilation on these two "definitive books".

Scottish Ground Records based on current capacities

Query: Could you please review and comment on the list below? Many thanks in advance! Modern-day Scottish Ground Records (≠ all time highest attendances) This overview reflects “latest” record crowds, i.e. taking into account the current official capacities of the grounds. The question is whether th...
