Re: Scottish Cup 2nd Round Draw
I suppose INSERTANAMEHERE might be right, Beith COULD beat Glasgow University & Sunnybank COULD beat Albion Rovers but Bo`ness`s Cup run I`m afraid ends in the 2nd Round.

At least match reports, line-ups etc are better to find for this round. There is an attendance figures for all matches but a few are still of the rounded-up (or down) variety. This is what I have. Any corrections or further info on the four matches ending in a 50 appreciated.

Re: Scottish Cup 2nd Round Draw
Undoubted the worst Queen`s Park score in my memory. I`m constantly being told how good the Hampden coaching system is and how many good, young players are coming through - for at least 15 years now - and yet the club languishes near the foot of the 3rd Division and can`t beat a junior side in the Cup. Something`s badly wrong and the whole club needs a radical shakeup - from the top downwards.

It could be worse. You could be a Feyenoord fan.LEATHERSTOCKING wrote:Undoubted the worst Queen`s Park score in my memory.

Re: Scottish Cup 2nd Round Draw
If Queen`s were still one of the top 3 in the country & one of the others(Vale of Leven or Dumbarton) beat them 10-0 then it would indeed be a catastrophe. What`s humiliating now is that not only are Queen`s NOT in the top three 130 years later, they`re not even in the top 33 and no-one @ Hampden seems too bothered. Glad handing officials of Berwick Rangers, Elgin City etc. every Saturday appears quite the acceptable norm for the committee. Little more than fifty years ago, the club was in Division One and beating one half of the Glasgow duopoly & scoring 4 against the other. Fifty years ago, they were challanging for promotion back to Division One and 20 years ago they played in the 1st Division. Now, less than 10 years from the club`s 150th anniversary, non league football looms as a distinct possibility. That`s some legacy. How do you chant "SACK THE COMMITTEE"?
