Alan Brown - New Forum Administrator
As most of you will know by now, David Ross has stepped down from running the scottishleague.net website and forum. He has very kindly allowed me the opportunity to take over his mantle and continue the forum and website. David spent 14 years answering questions on this forum, which has become a good place for Scottish football historians and statisticians to exchange information, views etc. I would like it to continue as it is, no changes are needed, it really runs itself.

Congratulations Alan, it's great news that the forum will continue. Hats off to David for the sterling work he has done over the years. I only wish I had become part of this great community much early than I did.

Re: Alan Brown - New Forum Administrator
I'm guilty of looking straight past the 'stickies' so only just saw the thread about David withdrawing.
Great news that the site is continuing - with the dual benefits of providing a daily platform for the answering of queries and sharing of information, and preserving what's already a rich historical archive.
Thanks Alan.

Good luck in your new role Alan.
And, to David - enjoy your new back bench role, and keep posting.
A wee query: does this mean "Alan Brown" is now "Scottish" or, will David continue with that identity?

Thank goodness someone's carrying this Forum on - life wouldn't be worth living without the daily check to see what gems are being unearthed. Well done to David for establishing a consistent forum like this, and thanks for taking it on Alan. Cheers Syd

Thanks for all the kind words of support.
Alan
We will both be continuing with our own user names Snuff. David needs to keep that identity so that his previous posts are not deleted from history!A wee query: does this mean "Alan Brown" is now "Scottish" or, will David continue with that identity?
