Re: Football Event at National Library of Scotland
Thanks for the positive responses so far. That's four of us so far, so if we could get the numbers up to at least ten then I will get in touch with Ian to see if something can be arranged either for this year or next year.

Yes, add me to the list too. Always wondered where all the books I have been sending to them for the last 25 years end up !

Re: Football Event at National Library of Scotland
We now have ten members of this forum interested in attending the 'Fitba Crazy' event including some guy called David Ross. I will now go ahead and contact Ian Scott to see what dates are available and post any further details as I get them.

I'd love to go depending on the day it's held as I would have to look at the rota at work.

There are those who are Irish and those who wish they were Irish !

I would love to attend if a space was available.

Re: Football Event at National Library of Scotland
Just an update as to where we are with organizing a 'Fitba Crazy' event for the group. Ian Scott has responded to my email to say he is ok to set up a private session for us. We just need to find a suitable date now. Was thinking a Saturday morning in November (7th, 14th, 21st or 28th). Can everyone who has shown an interest in attending post what dates from the list they would be available? To date we have the following list:
Alan Brown
Shawfield Boy
Bluedragon
Alan McCabe
Stewart
Scottish FA
Snuff
Scottish
Boab The Warrior
Robert B
Essex Corcaigh
Boris 57
If anyone else wants to attend please post.

Re: Football Event at National Library of Scotland
Alan,
Have you discussed rough timings for the day?
Through November we've got 2 home games then are away at Berwick and East Stirling, so if it was a morning event I could conceivably get the train from Edinburgh to any of those venues. Otherwise I would prefer the 21st or 28th November.
Cheers
Syd

Thanks Alan. I can do all those dates and have no preferences.

Re: Football Event at National Library of Scotland
Probably can't do the 14th, but the other dates are fine for me.

The 21st may be out for me. Also, what sort of start time are we talking about ?
