Re: NLS Visit 2016?
Unfortunately my wife has organised a wee trip to the borders for us that weekend so I'm back out again.
I hope those going enjoy their day.

Ok there are 5 of us going next Saturday: Myself, Gordon, Douglas, Paddy and 'Boris57'. If anyone else wants to come along then let me know.
If there are any particular items/newspapers that you want to have a look at then please post here.
If we could all try to be there for 9am, and the event should be finished for around midday. I have now made other plans for afterwards, so I will need to leave the visit to the Hears museum for another time. See you all Saturday.

Hey Alan. Will be leaving Ayr around seven and am getting a rail return to Edinburgh. Are you getting the Kilwinning Express ?

Alan, on the assumption that the "Gordon" is me, I'll be there (I'll PM you re my arrangements and maybe we can meet on the train). Like you I'm heading after the event (to Broadwood) so unfortunately won't be able to do the Hearts Museum this time. Cheers Syd

Re: NLS Visit 2016?
I will be there and looking forward to it. My only specifics are:
1) It would be good to see a range of Junior football material held
2) Some general advice on searching for football items on-line. I remember Ian Scott telling us the difficulties of indexing this type of material. The staff at NLS are all extremely helpful whenever I am looking for something. However, I think I maybe could do more myself on-line. Maybe Ian could give us some tips, etc?

Still hoping to make it to NLS tomorrow morning but all depends on whether plumber makes it out tonight. Come home to find washing machine has flooded kitchen. If emergency plumber gets to me tonight then I'm sound. But if he/she doesn't get to me tonight then it'll be tomorrow morning between 08:30 & 11:00 so I'll be snookered. As I stay, fingers crossed but gutted if I can't come & apologies for any inconvenience caused.
