Scotland Matches Kick Off Times

I write this more in hope than belief that somebody out there can help with the kick off times (GMT or CET) of the following matches involving Scotland at various representative levels. I appreciate it is a random question but would like to get all statistics for these games. I have searched the match programmes for most of these and they don't have the date on front cover. Newspaper reports in Herald and Evening Times also don't state times in match preview. Any alternative ideas of search material would be appreciated

Hi Barry,

I think that you can use the archive of the Scottish Football Association website for all the Scotland National team matches.

It usually has the time of the kick off.

Unfortunately I am not able to help you about the not "A" matches.

Thanks Gabe I am reluctant to use the SFA website for kick offs for games around this era after noticing that in the World Cup tournament in 1958 the match programmes clearly state kick off at 19.00 hours but the SFA have it as 3pm. I think that 3pm is more their default time and probably actual kick off times are not definitive until much later years. Thanks for your comments.

Scottish FA - do you have any more details of the Holland U-23 v Scotland U-23 match i am looking for the Holland side and the referee?

First, I would agree that the kick-off times in the SFA archive are not reliable. When I set this up the kick-off time was set at 3pm as a default. Since I left the SFA in 2007 I don't think any of the historical information has been updated or corrected.

As for the game in Amsterdam, the match programme lists the teams and my copy has a couple of corrections written in for the Dutch team:

1 Van Heeswijk (Blau Wit)
2 Fransen (written over Koole, DWS)
3 Kraay (DOS)
4 Kruiver (PSV)
5 Schilder (Sparta)
6 Burgerhof (written over Fransen, GVAV, presumably the guy moved to right back; this would be Thijs Burgerhof of Den Bosch)
7 Lazeroms (RBC)
8 Rutten (MVV)
9 Janssen (Stormvogels)
10 Groot (Stormvogels)
11 Bouwmeester (NAC)

Referee: Karl Lescart (Belgium)

There was one sub in this match: Jan Seelen (VVV) replaced Bouwmeester a few minutes before half time.

Final question on the Holland U-23 match do you have the christian name of 1.Van Heeswijk (Blau Wit) 8.Rutten (MVV Maastricht) 9.Janssen (Stormvogels)?
