I don't think there's the slightest doubt that the high profile impending release of the film "The Damned United" will be exactly why Barbara and her family made themselves available to ITV. Get their point in first when Brian is currently high profile again. I'm sure ITV will have sold it to them in that way. Good luck to them.

There was a brief discussion about this film at the end of Setanta's Press Box programme. Archie Gemmell was on the panel and he was very negative about the film having read the book. He did not recognise the portrayal of Brian Clough that was in the book and would not be in a hurry to see the film. Gerry McNee interjected to say 'I knew Brian Clough, I could tell some stories about him' but was mercifully cut short by Jim Delahunt.
