Just mentioned this on another thread and thought it might be of interest to some who haven't already come across it.

http://www.britishpathe.com/ has the entire British Pathe film archive online. You can download sample quality files for free (which are nevertheless good) and search for whatever takes your fancy.

Loads of football needless to say, although a lot of it suffers from the use of hand wound cameras running out of puff just as the brilliantined inside forward is about to smash another rocket past a hapless keeper dressed in a wooly jumper and flat cap.
