David - there certainly seems to be a new air of confidence around Rugby Park.
I must admit, I was a wee bit worried as I arrived on Saturday, how often does a provincial team follow-up a win against one half of the Old Firm by tripping up next time out and in the opening quarter, I feared for Killie.

However, once they scored, it seemed to me to be a matter of how many.

I feel Sandy Clark has made a big difference to Conor Sammon, he and Kyle are starting to look the part up front, while Cammy Bell, though not the biggest goalie, certainly can make the crucial saves and is a cleaner handler than a lot of current goalkeepers.

Not losing at Falkirk in midweek is crucial, but a win there could kick-start a late run for the top six: or should I know better than think that in my 51st year of supporting Killie.

Cammy Bell is an excellent keeper who has waited patiently for his chance and battled back from bad injury. Delighted he's now doing well.

Needs to work on his decision making at crosses a little maybe and isn't the tallest (but neither was Goram) but he's a good prospect.

Re Scottish & League Cup games on season tickets, 15 years ago, the Motherwell ST included ALL home cup ties (except Europe). That was quietly reduced to one per season. I believe that it no longer includes any. Also, many SPL clubs play their reserve games away from their 'home' and as such, a season ticket that gave access to upwards of 40 matches now admits to less than 20. One more way in which value for money has been eroded.

I'd forgotten about reserve games. You're correct. This is another example of supporters paying more for less.

I think you should know better. Not losing would do me. Killie are still potentially bottom of the SPL should Falkirk and Hamilton win their games in hand. I'd settle for being clear of the drop zone come the split and a home draw in the Scottish Cup.

I think anything else would be greedy after the way this season's gone thus far.

OK - I'm simply an eternal optimist. But, you have to dream, the alternative is to support the Old Firm.
