Re: Club Managers
Hamilton Accies updated. Any word on caretaker(s)?
Re: Club Managers
Martin Canning has been named Caretaker Player-Manager at Hamilton Academical and will be assisted by Frankie McAvoy before he joins Neil at Norwich City at the end of the month.
Re: Club Managers
Thanks. Duly updated.
Re: Club Managers
Rangers updated but I can't find the name of the latest caretaker anywhere. BTW if it's a two-man team would that be the Caretaker and the Undertaker?
Re: Club Managers
The Establishment Club will surely go down the establishment route.
I would imagine Gordon Durie will step-up as caretaker, with Lee McCulloch as assistant. Of course, the way things are going there, we might find the demoted Ian Durrant suddently promoted to the top job.
But, honestly, would any half-way competent or ambitious manager touch this basket case of a club with a barge pole?

Re: Club Managers
If "Juke Box's" experience at East Fife is any kind of recommendation then expect Bazza to get the call any day now. The fantastic job he's doing at Clyde must surely merit a promotion.

Re: Club Managers
Neither resigned as such though, they handed in their notice with a stated intention to work their notice period. It's then up to the club whether they tell them to go now or keep them on. Whether they choose to replace McDowall before the end of the season will inevitably depend on finances and whether they have an alternative candidate they think will do better.scottish wrote:Thanks for that. Re: Club Managers
Yes, you're right. But I was under the impression that they intended to put McDowall on the same "gardening leave" as McCoist.
Re: Club Managers
Brown Ferguson caretaker at Stenhousemuir (again). Duly updated.
