We've increased capacity twice since then and it is indeed presently 8,690. We might have beaten the 6,278 this year but it looks unlikely now. The rearrangement of both home matches against Rangers to midweek evening kick offs live on tv scuppered the first one (6,185) and will probably prevent the second one likewise beating it. Drawing Falkirk in this year's Scottish Cup Q-F and the BBC picking it up live and moving it to Friday night too will likely kill off another possibility. There is still the chance of a home playoff game against Hibs or Rangers breaking it though.
